Improvement of Self-Predictive Incremental Conductance Algorithm with the Ability to Detect Dynamic Conditions

This paper presents a new version of the incremental conductance algorithm for more accurate tracking maximum power point (MPP). The modified is called self-predictive (SPInC), and it recognizes operational region. It capable detecting dynamic conditions, detects sudden changes in resulting from intensity radiation or temperature. By selecting appropriate step size, obtains panel at any moment. improved reduces output ripple increases efficiency system by operating area size each SPInC divides system’s work areas into three zones. calculates region after identifying regions, which allows MPP speed equal to conventional method. These additional operations did not result slowdown power. According MATLAB/Simulink simulation results, efficient than InC, reduced. also compared perturb observe (P&O) algorithm. In general, can compete with popular algorithms that have been recently proposed MPPT other researches.
